We use cookies to keep www.wbotz.com working and to understand how it is used. This cookie policy forms part of the Wbotz privacy policy and covers the use of cookies between your device and this website. It is published by Wbotz, the trading name of ByteWeb IT Solutions Private Limited, and in this policy Wbotz, we, us and our all mean that company.
It also names the third party services we rely on, which may set cookies of their own as part of delivering their service. Their own policies govern what they do with that data, and we link to them below.
Nothing beyond the strictly necessary cookies is set until you allow it. You can accept, reject or change your choices at any time using the button below, and rejecting is one click, exactly like accepting.
What is a cookie
A cookie is a small piece of data that a website stores on your device when you visit. It usually holds the name of the site, a unique identifier that lets the site recognise your browser when you come back, whatever data serves the cookie's purpose, and how long the cookie should live.
Cookies enable features such as staying signed in, measure how a site is used, remember settings such as language or time zone, and personalise what you are shown. Related technologies such as local storage and pixels do similar work, and this policy covers those too.
Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called first party cookies and normally only track activity on that site. Cookies set by other companies are called third party cookies, and can be used to recognise you on other websites that use the same service.
The categories we use, and the cookies in each
A name ending in an asterisk varies by property or container. Retention is what the provider sets, and a cookie may be removed sooner if you clear your browser.
Strictly necessary
These make the site work: security, fair use of our servers, and remembering the cookie choice you made so we do not ask on every page. They cannot be switched off, and they are not used to profile you. Under the ePrivacy Directive and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act these do not require consent, because without them the service you asked for cannot be delivered.

Performance
These tell us how the site is used: which pages are read, which get abandoned, and where something is broken. We use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager, with IP addresses shortened by Google before storage. The reporting we look at is aggregated across all visitors. We set these only if you allow the performance category.

Functionality
These support features that need to remember something about your visit. The main one is the Calendly scheduler on our demo page. If you have not allowed this category the calendar stays unloaded and we show a button that loads it only when you ask, so Calendly never sees your visit until you decide.

Targeting and advertising
These measure which campaign brought someone to the site and limit how often the same advert is shown. We run the Meta pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag for this, alongside Google's advertising tags. They are loaded through Google Tag Manager and are held back until you allow this category, so neither Meta nor LinkedIn is contacted while it is off. While it is off, Google's tags also run with advertising identifiers redacted.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross context behavioural advertising in the sense used by United States state privacy laws. What these tags report back to Meta and LinkedIn is that a visit or an enquiry happened, matched to their own advertising identifiers.

We also store a display setting under the name wb-theme in your
browser's local storage, and a copy of the pages you have visited in a
service worker cache so the site opens when you are offline. Neither is sent
to us or to anyone else, and clearing site data in your browser removes both.

Some of these providers are outside India and the European Economic Area, so allowing their categories involves a transfer of data abroad. Those transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses.
Your choices
Your consent is recorded with the date and the version of this policy you were shown, and it lasts 180 days. After that we ask again. We also ask again if we add a category or change which services sit behind one.
You can withdraw consent at any time using the Manage cookie preferences button above. This page is linked from the footer of every page, so the control is never more than one click away. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent and does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat it as a rejection of every optional category and do not show the banner at all.

Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, or complain to a regulator. Changes to this policy
We review this page whenever we add or remove a script. The date at the top is when it last changed. If a change affects what we ask your permission for, we ask again rather than assuming your earlier answer still applies.
